The stunning pattern shown here for a tablecloth is called Trifle, and is part of my Cathedral Leaves collection. I have named it Trifle because it evokes memories of the delicious dessert that my mother made so well. The amazing colours consist of : peach, dusky pink, turquoise, pale yellow, and apricot. There is a strange and wonderful quality about the design, as though it could have been made by an ancient civilization. This is likely to be due to the mirror effect I have used, which stretches the leaves into fascinating shapes. A simple stem of interestingly shaped and shaded leaves were the inspiration for this fabulous design.
