Colour does not always have to be loud and in your face. Subtle, and sophisticated looks with muted colours, can be elegant, especially in spaces where people prefer clean lines, and no clutter. My pattern for the Roller Blind here that I call, Latte, addresses that need well. Although there is a small colour palette of mauve, pale green, and light brown, the billowing blooms of Sweet Peas give such a feeling of awe. Sage, lilac, aubergine, grey, and buff are the delicate shades seen in the petals. Choose for your blind to be recessed, as the one shown, which also has a right sided white cord, and allows some light in.
