This fresh and pretty pattern for an oven glove is found in my Oriental Leaves collection, and is called Leaves on Green. I have used Hawthorn leaves as the subject, some light and vibrant, and some darker and more muted, in the background, which is a great, soft, dark green shade. The style is very loosely based on the Japanese way of reducing a subject down to its most basic shape, filling it with a flat colour, then outlining it with a contrasting colour. The stalks stand out prettily in ultramarine, and light cobalt blue. This pattern gives a feel of being in a beautiful, relaxing glade. A matching apron is available.
