Initially, it is hard to see why I have called this pattern Pharaoh, as this is a floral design featuring poppies from Europe. It is actually the captivating colour of the poppy that gives it the name, in other words, turquoise, which was worn by Egyptian pharaohs as a symbol of fertility and wealth. This floral design is very unusual as it is set against a gorgeous water effect apricot and teal background which gives the poppies a stage as if they are themselves Gods. Other colours seen are dark, dusky blue, and lime green. An unusual colour scheme with a fresh, cobalt blue backing.
