The colours seen here in my pattern for the Serving Platter, are radiant in the main, although muted tones are also seen. The pattern started life as a watercolour painting I made of my own Passionflowers. I repainted the artwork to strengthen the colours, then found entirely new colour palettes and background solutions in the tiling programme, Filter Forge. I was thrilled with the sense of the here and now that I achieved. Blue, mauve, teal, and apricot are the main colours. Ideal for snacks such as Olives, although this platter made from Stone Max will withstand high temperatures.
