This Indigo concertina print was created by following traditional Japanese methods of Shibori. Shibori is a technique of folding and binding natural fabric and then immersing the fabric in indigo dye. After it is dyed in Indigo, all the pegs and stitches are removed, and the unique pattern is revealed. This print was nurtured in my own natural Indigo dye vat at home, this is what makes this print so special. Traditional printing techniques collaborating with modern furniture design creates a simply timeless piece anywhere in your home.
