This gorgeous pattern of mine on the pencil skirt is called Foxglove, and it has a truly unique, prestigious feel. The colours are muted at a distance, but close up you can see wonderful areas of vibrancy. These colours include lilac turquoise and teal. A church window look is achieved by reversing the original photograph I took, colouring it on Paint.net, then pondering different colour palettes and layouts in Filter Forge. I love the way the tiling has made the Foxgloves look like trees on a hill at a distance, then closer up, the intricate shapes of Foxglove blooms are more clearly seen. A stunning, sophisticated skirt.
