I liken the effect of this pattern on my senses to walking through a serene glade, with its soft, teal ochre, sage, caramel, and green foliage, and sunlight filtering through the leaves. This is why I called the pattern, Teal Glade. It was on a walk that I found my subject for this pattern ; a stem of leaves that were transitioning from autumn to winter. I made a watercolour study of them, then added a white woodcut effect in Paint.net. Filter Forge tiled the design, gave a fabulous new colour palette, and offered the sublime watery backdrop.
