There is a very orderly structure to my pattern that I call Ring of Roses. However, when you look into this beautiful pattern, you can see flower shapes, some of which look similar to the roses of Lancashire, or York, in the 15th Century War of the Roses. A delicate flower shape, with tapering petals, is seen right in the centre of each larger flower, which really draws the eye with its elegance. A simple colour palette is all that's needed to produce this fantastic Journal : deep pink, yellow, and violet. Sublime.
