About The Role

Contrado sells art on custom products. Customers are seeking something unique and meaningful. We are looking for a Brand Manager to run integrated Brand projects and help to embed the Contrado Brand positioning across our comms and teams. We are changing the way people buy fashion, lifestyle and gift products to on demand made to order model with less waste and greater sustainability. The Brand team at Contrado exists to build a compelling, memorable and distinct brand that will grow the business. We partner with teams across the organisation to ensure we are activating our mission at every stage of the customer journey. Defining and executing upon a comprehensive marketing and communications strategy to support our brand objectives and positioning. This role will be responsible for organising, collaborating, and executing multi-channel marketing strategies that delivers key messages to a business and consumer audience.

This newly defined position catapults an experienced and dynamic Brand Manager or Senior Brand Manager with extensive Ecommerce knowledge to be the expert brand guardian of Contrado. Join with a superb marketing team in a fast-paced innovative business. You will have extensive experience developing consumer brand awareness in the growing ecommerce sector through developing and implementing ground-breaking strategies and create an invaluable system to monitor brand experience. As Brand Manager you will be exceptional at your craft as brand guardian, and you will lead the asset creation, communications, and social team to ensure that everything from graphics and videography through to social media and email channels are engaging and on brand. A creative approach is required pushing the boundaries with communication of the established ecommerce brand to millions of consumers in a relaxed and down to earth style. The key to succeeding in this role is your passion for driving the mission statement forward and ensuring that the brand values are effectively translated across a variety of outlets in accordance with guidelines. Your brand and marketing experience should include responsibility for a rapidly scaling brand globally with high levels of creative flair and the ability to determine what is visually appealing. You need extensive knowledge of ecommerce and successful leadership of a small team previously. What You'll Be Doing

  • Define, shape and implement the end-to-end ecommerce strategy.
  • Working closely with the founders and other senior marketing stakeholders
  • Drive strategic customer acquisition and retention across SEO, PPC, social media, CRM, email, word of mouth, affiliates.
  • Build out 3rd party promotion suppliers responsible for expanding growth.
  • Develop a compelling content strategy with Content team and digital marketing programme.
  • Responsible for the online customer journey working closely with store manager to create the best-in-class journey.
  • Manage the user experience of the website including site navigation, tagging and search.
  • Develop and use analytics and reporting for continuous review and optimisation of the site.
  • Be the ambassador of brand visual presentation online externally and internally.
  • Proactively identifying opportunities to drive incremental sales.
  • Managing project plans, budgets, P&L, and reporting across a range of projects
  • Collaborating with Product, CX and Marketing teams to deliver digital projects, content and marketing activation.
  • Manages the Brand roadmap and overall project plan to support the Head of Brand to activate the Brand.
  • Analysing audience insight and project effectiveness data to design, deliver and optimise projects.
  • Collaborating with Researchers and Strategies to immerse in the audience in a brand experience they cannot ignore.
  • Qualitative and quantitative research and co-creation Requirements:
  • Project managing integrated brand projects across Marketing, Digital and Customer Experience
  • Experience managing stakeholders cross-functionally.
  • Understanding of and passion for working with 20-30yrs and family audiences
  • Understanding of and passion for lifestyle culture
  • Desire and ambition to work in a mission-based business.
  • Understanding of and practice in making creative brand work, working with a Brand strategy
  • Collaborative, entrepreneurial and problem-solving attitude
  • Analytical, details orientated and comfortable with delivery at pace.
  • Understanding of and practice in using data and analysing marketing effectiveness
  • Data fluency essential:
  • Experience activating a progressive brand mission.
  • Working on policy for sustainability projects
  • Experience working with (digital) Product teams.

Essential Skills and Experience

  • Must have broad ecommerce management and digital marketing experience within luxury, premium or high end FMCG, fashion or lifestyle.
  • You must be on independent mind, to make calculated risks and be energised for growth.
  • Proven track record of online growth for a fashion, luxury or lifestyle brand eg (£2m - £10m sales)
  • Deep understanding of the luxury customer and how to offer innovative consumer experience.
  • As hands on as you are a strategic in digital marketing channels and conversion SEO, PPC, Email, Social, Vid, On page, Outreach, Word of Mouth.
  • Experience across all channels from performance marketing to CRM and conversion
  • Amazing ability to build relationship and influencing our build suppliers eg Web Dev Strong grasp of UX and conversion rate optimisation
  • Massive appetite for positive growth environment and an entrepreneurial mindset who loves the accountability we will provide.
  • Minimum 4 or 5 years' experience within Marketing/ Brand within FMCG online / off line mix
  • Previous experience defining and growing a brand
  • Results driven- previous experience with budget and P&L management.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement.
  • Strong experience liaising with external parties.
  • Strong 360 product development knowledge.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Life Skilled or Degree educated (Marketing ideally)
