Custom Printed Hijabs Handmade to Order
Your beautiful custom headscarf is the perfect way to show off your individual style without compromising your beliefs, especially when printed with unique designs, illustrations or artwork. With a choice of 5 fabrics, you can get the right look, texture and support that you're looking for. We finish the custom hijab flawlessly, stitching either a baby hem or 3-thread overlock. Depending on how you style your headscarf, there's a range of sizes to choose from, so select the dimensions that will give you the coverage you're after. Please note: As all of our headscarves are handmade to order, there will be some variance in the dimensions of the scarf. A predictable amount of shrinkage is likely to occur, this is normal and to be expected, and will be more apparent in the natural fabrics.

Reviews for Headscarf
based on 13 customer reviews
I enjoyed designing silk scarves for family using your website design tool, and recipients have been delighted with the results, especially as I have used images of my late father’s watercolours (he died in June so this was the first Christmas without him). Impressive turnaround time just before Christmas! It would be even better if it were possible to zoom in on the design to check/tweak.
Delighted with the quality of the muslin Scarf. Print quality is perfect, delivery prompt. My design looks exactly as I envisioned it on this lovely product. thank you.
Very good finish, faithful colours
I ordered one of my own designs on the long scarf in the Mulmul Muslin, with a baby hem. I was so happy with quality of the fabric, quality of the print and sewn edges. Also the speed of which I received my order was brilliant. It would also be good to have the option of a slightly longer and wider version of this shape scarf available.
I bought a scarf, I wanted some text on it and I found the design part of the website extremely frustrating which meant that the text was much larger than I hoped. The end result is still beautiful quality but not exactly what I wanted.
It is pretty much how I imagined it would be. Good service, great product.
This was the first time I’ve ordered my own design fabric from anywhere. I was astonished by how easy it was to use the design facility, the quality of the product, but most of all by the speed in which it came.
Order processed rapidly, quick delivery, and a very good quality product.
I was very satisfied with the product quality , service standard and helpful advice
I tried a design on a headscarf and was very pleased with the quality of print, it looked good. Fast turnaround and easy to upload design. Will experiment a bit more then will be in touch at some stage to ask about wholesale prices.
The quality of the print on my chiffon scarf was excellent, but the sewing around the edge was poor quality and started to fray after only a couple of days, this would definitely need improving considering the price of the product.
The scarf I ordered came very quickly and was completely true to the visual that I supplied. Good quality and good value for money and a really lovely gift that was well received. Would highly recommend.

Frequently asked questions:
What are the hemming options?
We offer 2 hem types for your scarf. Baby hem uses 8mm of material on each side, folded twice then a top stitch approximately 2-3mm from the edge. The 3 thread overlock trims off 3mm fabric, and has an overlock edge stitch.
Are they machine washable?
For our natural fabrics, we recommend dry cleaning only, but for the poly-blend fabrics, we recommend using a delicate or cold wash to ensure the longevity of the scarf and keep the print and textile in perfect condition.
What is the most commonly used size for a headscarf?
The most common size is 90 x 90 cm. However, it all comes down to how intricately you want to wrap your headscarf. We offer 5 custom sizes and will introduce more soon. However, do contact us if you have a specific size requirement and we will be happy to help.

What's the best resolution to print in?
We print at 200dpi, which is a good combination of quality and file weight. Ideally your image should be scaled to 100% at 200dpi, this means that no resizing of your file occurs stopping any interpolation.
Should I save my file as a TIFF or JPEG?
For multi-coloured or very detailed files we recommend using a tiff format, but they must be flattened. For simple colours and low detail files, a jpeg is fine.
Which colour model should I choose? RGB or CMYK?
If each individual colour is specifically important to your design, choose CYMK as our setup will print each colour with the closest possible match within our available range. If the relationship between the colours within the image is more important choose RGB, this will reduce all colours equally to fit within our range.
What does GSM mean?
Grams per Square Meter (GSM) is an international standard for measuring the weight of paper or fabric. GSM uses the weight of a square meter (1000 x 1000mm) as an indication of the weight and thickness of a given fabric. We class 20-100gsm as light (summer fabrics, gauzes and fine silks), 101-249 gsm as medium (most clothing fabrics) and 250+ gsm as heavy (upholstery fabrics, and other specialist fabrics).
What are bleed areas?
When designing your product, it’s best to make sure that your image is slightly larger than needed. In printing, the extra printed image is referred to as a “Bleed Area” or margin, and it is removed from the finished piece. A bleed area acts as a buffer for slight inconsistencies in the manufacturing process. however, it’s important to fill your bleed areas completely, or you may end up with white, unprinted strips along the edge of your finished product.
Do you print on garments a customer supplies?
Unfortunately not. All our garments are printed on flat fabric, and sewn into finished products, which gives a better finished result and all-over print. We test meticulously so that we know what gets best results on our fabrics, and our facilities cater perfectly to them. We do however print sublimation paper to order, so if you have access to a heat press you can press your fabrics or flat garments easily.
Can you Align a Pattern or design across panels of a garment?
We always strive for the greatest accuracy when printing and constructing your garments. However, due to unavoidable stretch or movement of the fabric during the stitching process, we cannot guarantee perfect pattern registration across garment seams. We are generally accurate within 2-3mm, which Is close enough for most patterns, but may show slight issues with detailed geometric patterns.
Can I print my own Labels?
Most of our garments now come with printable label space for you to add your own company information and branding! If you would like to sew in your own labels, we also offer Printed Fabric Labels here.
How is your fabric printing eco-friendly?
With environmental consciousness in mind, our fabrics are all printed using completely water based inks. This means no chemicals or solvents are used. Our heat fixing procedure fixes the colours and prints, avoiding the downsides of steaming, such as excess or contaminated water returning into the waste system. We have one facility in London where we conduct all the printing, production and fulfillment.
