Design Your Own Custom Bolster Cushions

Design a long sausage pillow using your artwork, illustrations or digital designs. Available in either a medium (65 cm) or large (85 cm), you can create the design for the front and back of your customised body pillow individually. The removable cover is made from soft premium fabric, lush to the touch. You can also make your own body pillow cover from a variety of smooth poly or natural fabrics. We also offer cushion piping in six colours: black, white, kingfisher green, cerise, yellow and rose. Printed edge-to-edge on both sides, the long-lasting, vibrant custom body pillow is lovingly handmade to order.

HOW YOUR CUSTOM BODY PILLOW IS MADE

We print your designs onto your choice of fabric using state-of-the-art modern digital printing techniques. Our craftspeople then cut the printed front and back panels to the perfect size and shape to create your long sausage pillow. We then sew the panels of your customised body pillow together, add a 3mm-wide strip of coloured satin for the piping and attach a zip as the perfect finishing touch. Once the cover for your custom body pillow is complete, we stuff it with a plump poly-fibre pad.

Design Tips

You can create the designs for both the front and back of your personalised body pillow separately which opens up a whole array of opportunities. When you design your own body pillow, use complementary or contrasting designs and create a reversible long sausage pillow. You can use your print-on-demand body pillow to create multiple effects, from showing the difference in a tree from summer to winter, to inverting the colours and having the same image in two separate colourways on each side. 

Bear in mind the handmade nature of your custom-printed body pillow, and avoid relying on your patterns joining at the seams, as we cannot guarantee the positioning. A great way to use the custom body pillow to your advantage is to add a border to your pattern or design in a colour that will really make your designs pop.

Where is the zip on my custom bolster cushions?

The zip to remove the cover of your long sausage pillow is located on the bottom seam. The well-hidden zip on your custom body pillow doesn't quite extend to the edges so that your corners are super neat and tidy.

Can I wash my long sausage pillow?

Your custom bolster cushions are handmade to order with a removable cover. If it gets dirty at all, you can simply unzip, remove the poly-fibre insert and pop the cover on a standard 30° wash cycle. It can even be tumble dried and ironed on low heat.

Can I add text to my bolster design?

Our online design interface has a text tool that you can use to add text to your custom bolster cushions. You have a choice of different fonts available to you when you make your own body pillow. That means that if the one you want isn't there, you can always add text to your custom-printed body pillow before uploading.
