How Your Wedding Guest Book is Made
Bound by hand to order in London, UK, your custom guest book is a truly exceptional piece of craftsmanship. Your designs are printed using dye sublimation onto a gorgeous satin fabric, producing a high definition and radiant print. Ruled or plain pages are bound to the spine by hand, which is also printed in your choice of 6 colours. This allows you to create a truly bespoke wedding guest book. This satin is bound to the hardback cover, finished with elegant metal corner caps. The overall look and feel is luxury, as the satin has a slight shimmer and on the surface.
Keep your custom guest book safe and free from dust in a lovely presentation box. Within the design interface, you can choose from several options, including a silver tin, a fabric cloth covered box or a customised box with your design printed onto Suede Vision fabric and wrapped around the lid. To maintain regular cleanliness, wipe down the satin cover with a cloth should it get dirty.
Design Your Own Guest Book Tips
The satin produces a lovely print with a slight sheen that catches the light. Please note that Monroe Satin is a woven fabric, so we suggest using designs and patterns with bolder detailing or larger photos to ensure a sharp finish. This is as the surface shows the weave, so small intricate details could get lost.
As you get to design the back cover too, this is an ideal space for your contact details, any photography credits or even a barcode. This ensures a professional finish that won't go unnoticed.
Reviews for Guest Book

Quality product, although I thought it would have more pages inside would be worth paying a bit more to have this option. I don't think it says on the product description how many pages are in the book.
Also, I may have purchased a tin for it to go into but I could not find any pictures of it on your website. I did email you but did not get a reply as far as I am aware.
This book is great quality, especially as a gift as is comes in the presentation and storage tin. I wish I was aware that the finish would be textured as I tried to apply a textured finish to my image from when really it didn't need it. But it's a stunning quality and my mum loved it. Thank you
Love the hard back book. It's perfect and it came on time with plenty of packaging. Thank you
High quality product with super fast turn around!
Final product and service was excellent, perhaps paralysed by fear of making an error to some extent, but if the process could be shown on an agreed time for example say every two hours, things might move along more smoothly.
Excellent product very happy
Guest Book created for an event we are holding & the quality & help I had from the company pre order were both great. Thank you!

Frequently asked questions:
What do the inner pages look like?
There's an option to have either custom ruled columns for the date, name, address and message, or choose plain pages if you prefer to create your own columns.
Where is my design printed?
We print your designs onto luxury satin which is then bound around the hard back cover. You can design the front and back, with either the same or different design.
Does it come in a presentation box?
There's several options for presentation. Choose from a silver presentation tin (excl. A3 size), a classic black cloth covered box or a presentation box printed with a design.
What's the best resolution to print in?
We print at 200dpi, which is a good combination of quality and file weight. Ideally, your image should be scaled to 100% at 200dpi, this means that no resizing of your file occurs stopping any interpolation.
Should I save my file as a TIFF or JPEG?
For multi-coloured or very detailed files we recommend using a tiff format, but they must be flattened. For simple colours and low detail files, a jpeg is fine.
Which colour model should I choose? RGB or CMYK?
We advise providing images in the RGB colour space. Specifically using the sRGB image profile, to achieve best colour results. What does this mean? In your editing software choose RGB as the working space, and assign the image profile as sRGB (full name sRGB IEC61966-2.1)
What does GSM mean?
Grams per Square Meter (GSM) is an international standard for measuring the weight of paper or fabric. GSM uses the weight of a square meter (1000 x 1000mm) as an indication of the weight and thickness of a given fabric. We class 20-100gsm as light (summer fabrics, gauzes and fine silks), 101-249 gsm as medium (most clothing fabrics) and 250+ gsm as heavy (upholstery fabrics, and other specialist fabrics).
What are the bleed areas?
When designing your product, it’s best to make sure that your image is slightly larger than needed. In printing, the extra printed image is referred to as a “Bleed Area” or margin, and it is removed from the finished piece. A bleed area acts as a buffer for slight inconsistencies in the manufacturing process. however, it’s important to fill your bleed areas completely, or you may end up with white, unprinted strips along the edge of your finished product.
Do you print on garments a customer supplies?
Unfortunately not. All our garments are printed on flat fabric and sewn into finished products, which gives a better, finished result and all-over print. We test meticulously so that we know what gets the best results on our fabrics, and our facilities cater perfectly to them. We do however print sublimation paper to order, so if you have access to a heat press you can press your fabrics or flat garments easily.
Can you Align a Pattern or design across panels of a garment?
We always strive for the greatest accuracy when printing and constructing your garments. However, due to unavoidable stretch or movement of the fabric during the stitching process, we cannot guarantee perfect pattern registration across garment seams. We are generally accurate within 2-3mm, which Is close enough for most patterns but may show slight issues with detailed geometric patterns.
Can I print my own Labels?
Most of our garments now come with printable label space for you to add your own company information and branding! If you would like to sew in your own labels, we also offer Printed Fabric Labels here.
How is your fabric printing eco-friendly?
With environmental consciousness in mind, our fabrics are all printed using completely water-based inks. This means no chemicals or solvents are used. Our heat fixing procedure fixes the colours and prints, avoiding the downsides of steaming, such as excess or contaminated water returning into the waste system. We have one facility in London where we conduct all the printing, production and fulfillment.
Please note: As everything we provide is handmade to order, all measurements may vary slightly.
