Product Description
This stunning custom leather clutch bag is made entirely from one piece of leather with a Suede Vision lining on the inside. With a high-quality zip, this printed leather clutch features a round metal zip puller and your personal designs and artwork. The zip itself features a black tape with either gold or silver coloured teeth to give you a wonderful contrasting look, which will fit with any design.
Care instructions
Always test an offcut or sample prior to working the leather with tools, adhesives or heat. To ensure the leather print on your product is as durable as possible, we’ve worked hard refining our printing process and craftsmanship. As leather is a natural material you may notice small differences in surface and texture, as well as wrinkles, which is common to products made from natural leather. All leathers age naturally according to the usage, and this can cause the print to wrinkle or fade slightly over time. It is possible the base colour may show through the leather as it ages with wear. When not in use we recommend storing your product in a protective dust bag or box to keep your product looking its best. Avoid prolonged exposure to extreme heat, sunlight, water, and chemical cleaners to maintain a bright and long-lasting print. Avoid contact with light coloured fabrics or upholstery as the colour may transfer. Whilst a light rain shower is unlikely to harm, we recommend protecting from rain. Should your product get wet, allow to dry naturally away from direct heat. To clean surface wipe only with a damp lint free cotton cloth.

How your printed leather clutch is made
Our expert printing technicians use the most up-to-date technology to bond your design to the leather itself. This infusion method creates a long-lasting print which is as strong as the leather itself. Our craftsmen will then cut the leather to size and make up your high-quality zip, complete with a puller before our artisan seamstresses stitch everything together and line it. As this is done by hand, you may notice some slight wrinkling to the leather, this will not affect the quality whatsoever, however, if you have any concerns, solid blocks of dark colour are where this is more apparent and we would advise avoiding those.
Design Tips
When you design your own clutch bag, take into account the size that you have chosen. The printed leather clutch is available in both small and large sizes. If you are opting for a smaller bag, ensure that your design is not so intricate that you cannot make out the smaller details when it is scaled down.
Due to our expert printing techniques, our technicians can print fine detailing up to 2pt onto the leather material, however, do bear in mind the size of the surface that you are printing onto.

What's the best resolution to print in?
We print at 200dpi, which is a good combination of quality and file weight. Ideally, your image should be scaled to 100% at 200dpi, this means that no resizing of your file occurs stopping any interpolation.

Should I save my file as a TIFF or JPEG?
For multi-coloured or very detailed files we recommend using a tiff format, but they must be flattened. For simple colours and low detail files, a jpeg is fine.

Which colour model should I choose? RGB or CMYK?
We advise providing images in the RGB colour space. Specifically using the sRGB image profile, to achieve best colour results. What does this mean? In your editing software choose RGB as the working space, and assign the image profile as sRGB (full name sRGB IEC61966-2.1)

What does GSM mean?
Grams per Square Meter (GSM) is an international standard for measuring the weight of paper or fabric. GSM uses the weight of a square meter (1000 x 1000mm) as an indication of the weight and thickness of a given fabric. We class 20-100gsm as light (summer fabrics, gauzes and fine silks), 101-249 gsm as medium (most clothing fabrics) and 250+ gsm as heavy (upholstery fabrics, and other specialist fabrics).

What are the bleed areas?
When designing your product, it’s best to make sure that your image is slightly larger than needed. In printing, the extra printed image is referred to as a “Bleed Area” or margin, and it is removed from the finished piece. A bleed area acts as a buffer for slight inconsistencies in the manufacturing process. however, it’s important to fill your bleed areas completely, or you may end up with white, unprinted strips along the edge of your finished product.

Do you print on garments a customer supplies?
Unfortunately not. All our garments are printed on flat fabric and sewn into finished products, which gives a better, finished result and all-over print. We test meticulously so that we know what gets the best results on our fabrics, and our facilities cater perfectly to them. We do however print sublimation paper to order, so if you have access to a heat press you can press your fabrics or flat garments easily.

Can you Align a Pattern or design across panels of a garment?
We always strive for the greatest accuracy when printing and constructing your garments. However, due to unavoidable stretch or movement of the fabric during the stitching process, we cannot guarantee perfect pattern registration across garment seams. We are generally accurate within 2-3mm, which Is close enough for most patterns but may show slight issues with detailed geometric patterns.

Can I print my own Labels?
Most of our garments now come with printable label space for you to add your own company information and branding! If you would like to sew in your own labels, we also offer Printed Fabric Labels here.

How is your fabric printing eco-friendly?
With environmental consciousness in mind, our fabrics are all printed using completely water-based inks. This means no chemicals or solvents are used. Our heat fixing procedure fixes the colours and prints, avoiding the downsides of steaming, such as excess or contaminated water returning into the waste system. We have one facility in London where we conduct all the printing, production and fulfillment.
FAQ
Will my design be interrupted where the panels join?
The outer of the custom leather clutch is made from a single piece of leather. This means that at the seams where the leather is joined you may see a small amount of interruption depending on your design, however, we don't make the front and back from separate panels, so you won't have that interruption that you get with other clutch bags.
Will my design peel away?
Our top-of-the-range leather printing techniques ensure that the inks, and thus your design, is bonded to the leather material. This modern digital printing negates the need to print onto a film which adheres to the leather, and means that your design is as strong as the leather itself and won't peel off.
Will the zip be fiddly, especially with the smaller bag?
Your high-quality zip is beautifully finished with a circular puller. This means that you can both open and close the zip of your custom leather clutch with ease. The puller is available in your choice of silver or gold and will match the zip teeth in colour, contrasting beautifully with the black coloured tape of the zip. This zip puller features not only on the small clutch but the large as well.
