The basic raw edge keyrings are made from real Nappa (smooth or textured) leather or warm leatherette, which is renowned for its beauty and lightweight nature. Whichever option you choose it is handmade in London just for you. Thanks to the natural qualities of the leather, every order of bespoke leather keyrings is unique with all the charm that comes from using a natural material. Grainy textures, small pockmarks and other distinct leather attributes may be apparent. When you design your own leather keyring, the colours are vibrant and fine lines crystal clear.  Your custom leather keychain is available either in a classic rectangular shape or a beautiful heart shape, with a choice of five stitching and edge colours.

How Your Custom Leather Keyring Is Made

Firstly, the print technicians print your designs onto the beautiful leather or faux leather. It is then passed onto our craftsmen and seamstresses, who carefully cut the leather and bond both sides together, insert a spongy padded layer in the middle and stitch it all together. The classic split rings are the final addition to your printed leather keyrings, and they are ready to be checked and sent directly to you.

These custom printed leather keyrings are made from a complete piece of leather. This is cut to size, carefully folded and then riveted together. A trigger clip is fixed to one end and a traditional split ring is then attached to the strap loop. We finish off the keyring with a coat of special paint around the edges that gives a pristine look and helps to protect the leather.

Design Tips

These bespoke leather keyrings look beautiful with anything from photos to original artwork and typography printed on them. As they are double-sided, you have twice the space to get creative. If you are considering a design that has fine details or text, please remember that there is a slight bleed area, where stitches are made around the edges of the keyring. To avoid distortion, place important aspects of the design in the centre of your artwork.

Is my custom leather keyring really made of leather?

Your new keyring is made from stunning Nappa or faux leather, depending on the option that you choose. This beautiful leather has natural characteristics, including visible grain, which become more apparent as the leather ages. There is a spongy layer of padding in the centre.

Are the printed leather keyrings made in-house?

Yes they are. Our leather keyrings areprinted and made in our UK workshop. They are printed by technicians, and cut, sewn and finished by a team of seamstresses.

How quickly will I receive my bespoke leather keyrings?

You will receive your custom leather keyrings very quickly. If orders are received before 12pm, they can sometimes be made on the same day. We also offer next day delivery.
