How Your Plastic Party Plates Are Printed & Made
When your design is uploaded onto our online interface, you have the option of changing the orientation and size to make it perfect for the shape of the plastic party plates. Your designs are printed onto the custom party plates using a specialist process, perfected by our team of expert technicians. The plastic your designs are printed onto produces crystal clear prints, where colours are vibrant and seem to leap off of the plate.
Care Instructions
These custom party plates are very easy to care for. They are both microwave and dishwasher safe, so very easy to clean. Made from shatterproof plastic, they are essentially unbreakable, making them ideal for parties and family life.

Please note: Materials and articles in contact with foodstuff – Test method for resistance to microwave heating of ceramic, glass or plastic cookware. Certificate available upon request.
Design Tips
These plates look beautiful, thanks to their glossy finish and high-quality print. They have a slight bowl effect, meaning there is a very small depression in the centre. This is important to take into consideration when uploading your design. If there is a main feature of your design, we suggest placing towards the middle of the plate, so the print is not affected by the shape of the plate. We advise not relying on centring your design, as due to the handmade nature there can be a +/-10% difference in the positioning of your design. Keep important details off the rim of your plates to ensure they are not cut off.

So I I ordered 10 sets of 4 different designs, but I received 9 complete sets and then one plate in the last set had markings and I received two copies of other designs in its place. I was appreciative to get the marked ones too- as I can use them but I would have like to have 10 complete sets. I am thinking or re-ordering and if so I would like to ensure I get 10 of each plate in perfect condition! They have made many I know very happy so appreciate the quality!

What do the party plates look like?
These plates are made from durable and glossy shatterproof plastic. With a 19cm diameter, your designs are printed over the whole front of the plates, edge to edge with a vibrant and HD quality print.
Are the plates easy to clean?
As well as being easy to care for, your new plates are very easy to clean. They are safe to be used in the dishwasher, so you can clean them by hand or pop them in the machine to do the dirty work for you.
Can I order more than 1 plate?
When you design your party plates, you have the option of choosing from a pack of 2 or 4 as well as just a single. You can create a different design for every plate, so there is no limit to what you can create.

What's the best resolution to print in?
We print at 200dpi, which is a good combination of quality and file weight. Ideally, your image should be scaled to 100% at 200dpi, this means that no resizing of your file occurs stopping any interpolation.

Should I save my file as a TIFF or JPEG?
For multi-coloured or very detailed files we recommend using a tiff format, but they must be flattened. For simple colours and low detail files, a jpeg is fine.

Which colour model should I choose? RGB or CMYK?
We advise providing images in the RGB colour space. Specifically using the sRGB image profile, to achieve best colour results. What does this mean? In your editing software choose RGB as the working space, and assign the image profile as sRGB (full name sRGB IEC61966-2.1)

What does GSM mean?
Grams per Square Meter (GSM) is an international standard for measuring the weight of paper or fabric. GSM uses the weight of a square meter (1000 x 1000mm) as an indication of the weight and thickness of a given fabric. We class 20-100gsm as light (summer fabrics, gauzes and fine silks), 101-249 gsm as medium (most clothing fabrics) and 250+ gsm as heavy (upholstery fabrics, and other specialist fabrics).

What are the bleed areas?
When designing your product, it’s best to make sure that your image is slightly larger than needed. In printing, the extra printed image is referred to as a “Bleed Area” or margin, and it is removed from the finished piece. A bleed area acts as a buffer for slight inconsistencies in the manufacturing process. however, it’s important to fill your bleed areas completely, or you may end up with white, unprinted strips along the edge of your finished product.

Do you print on garments a customer supplies?
Unfortunately not. All our garments are printed on flat fabric and sewn into finished products, which gives a better, finished result and all-over print. We test meticulously so that we know what gets the best results on our fabrics, and our facilities cater perfectly to them. We do however print sublimation paper to order, so if you have access to a heat press you can press your fabrics or flat garments easily.

Can you Align a Pattern or design across panels of a garment?
We always strive for the greatest accuracy when printing and constructing your garments. However, due to unavoidable stretch or movement of the fabric during the stitching process, we cannot guarantee perfect pattern registration across garment seams. We are generally accurate within 2-3mm, which Is close enough for most patterns but may show slight issues with detailed geometric patterns.

Can I print my own Labels?
Most of our garments now come with printable label space for you to add your own company information and branding! If you would like to sew in your own labels, we also offer Printed Fabric Labels here.

How is your fabric printing eco-friendly?
With environmental consciousness in mind, our fabrics are all printed using completely water-based inks. This means no chemicals or solvents are used. Our heat fixing procedure fixes the colours and prints, avoiding the downsides of steaming, such as excess or contaminated water returning into the waste system. We have one facility in London where we conduct all the printing, production and fulfillment.
Please note: As everything we provide is handmade to order, all measurements may vary slightly.
Delivery time & Costs
Production times
We handmake your item on site, which takes on average 1-3 days. Please check individual production times which are displayed next to the item price on the product page, as this varies from product to product. In rare cases when we need to re-print an item, this may take an additional 1-2 days.
Shipping methods
After your item has been manufactured, we ship your order via your chosen method. Please add on the production time to the delivery time to calculate when your order will be with you. Select your delivery method in your basket.
We have a range of trusted shipping options:
- Royal Mail 1st Class Standard (no tracking) - 1-5 working days on average (please note that this can take up to 15 working days in exceptional circumstances).
- Royal Mail 1st Class Recorded (no tracking) - Usually delivered the next working day. It is not a guaranteed next day service, or a tracked service. A signature is required. (Please note that this can take up to 15 working days in exceptional circumstances).
- Special Delivery - Delivered the next working day
- Saturday Delivery (deliver only on Sat)
- Collection from our London Office (between 4-6pm on working days only)
- For international orders or large/bulky packages within the UK, we ship via DHL or Fedex services. This takes on average 2-5 working days.
