How your Printed Bed Sheets are Made
Printed and handmade to order in London, UK by our expert print technicians and seamstresses, your sheets are a product of skilled craftsmanship. Using specialist printing techniques, the inks are fused into the fabric creating a lasting print that won't crack, peel away or rub off. When cutting the material to size, we cut out the corners so that we can stitch the elastic into the edges. This is what makes your bed sheets fitted, as they need to be pulled taut around the corners of your mattress.
Care Instructions
Your custom printed fitted bed sheets can be machine washed at 30°c and tumble tried. If left to dry flat, no ironing is necessary. The tough, lasting print won't peel with washing, due to the specialist dye-sublimation print.
Design Tips
When using the design interface you'll notice that the corners of your bed sheet are cut out. This is because we create the bed sheet with elastic corners using the edges, ensuring that when attaching it to your mattress, it's taut and secure. If you have important design details in the corners of your image, you may want to edit and adjust accordingly so that these are not cut out with the corners.
Fitted sheets printed with a complementary design to your decor are an elegant touch to your home furnishings. Or alternatively these sheets can feature your logo, company slogan or strapline; perfect if you're in the hotel business and looking to increase your branding efforts. What's size is a metric single?
A metric single bed is essentially a large single, 3 inches wider and 3 inches longer than a regular single. They are sometimes known as a twin bed.
Can I put my fitted bed sheets in the wash?
Your sheets can be machine washed as standard at 30°c and they're also safe to tumble dry. To avoid ironing, lay flat and leave to dry.
Do the optional pillowcases come with a pad?
If you select to add on 1 or 2 pillowcases to create a set, these are single slip covers that don't have a pad. Simply replace with your existing pillows.

What's the best resolution to print in?
We print at 200dpi, which is a good combination of quality and file weight. Ideally, your image should be scaled to 100% at 200dpi, this means that no resizing of your file occurs stopping any interpolation.

Should I save my file as a TIFF or JPEG?
For multi-coloured or very detailed files we recommend using a tiff format, but they must be flattened. For simple colours and low detail files, a jpeg is fine.

Which colour model should I choose? RGB or CMYK?
We advise providing images in the RGB colour space. Specifically using the sRGB image profile, to achieve best colour results. What does this mean? In your editing software choose RGB as the working space, and assign the image profile as sRGB (full name sRGB IEC61966-2.1)

What does GSM mean?
Grams per Square Meter (GSM) is an international standard for measuring the weight of paper or fabric. GSM uses the weight of a square meter (1000 x 1000mm) as an indication of the weight and thickness of a given fabric. We class 20-100gsm as light (summer fabrics, gauzes and fine silks), 101-249 gsm as medium (most clothing fabrics) and 250+ gsm as heavy (upholstery fabrics, and other specialist fabrics).

What are the bleed areas?
When designing your product, it’s best to make sure that your image is slightly larger than needed. In printing, the extra printed image is referred to as a “Bleed Area” or margin, and it is removed from the finished piece. A bleed area acts as a buffer for slight inconsistencies in the manufacturing process. however, it’s important to fill your bleed areas completely, or you may end up with white, unprinted strips along the edge of your finished product.

Do you print on garments a customer supplies?
Unfortunately not. All our garments are printed on flat fabric and sewn into finished products, which gives a better, finished result and all-over print. We test meticulously so that we know what gets the best results on our fabrics, and our facilities cater perfectly to them. We do however print sublimation paper to order, so if you have access to a heat press you can press your fabrics or flat garments easily.

Can you Align a Pattern or design across panels of a garment?
We always strive for the greatest accuracy when printing and constructing your garments. However, due to unavoidable stretch or movement of the fabric during the stitching process, we cannot guarantee perfect pattern registration across garment seams. We are generally accurate within 2-3mm, which Is close enough for most patterns but may show slight issues with detailed geometric patterns.

Can I print my own Labels?
Most of our garments now come with printable label space for you to add your own company information and branding! If you would like to sew in your own labels, we also offer Printed Fabric Labels here.

How is your fabric printing eco-friendly?
With environmental consciousness in mind, our fabrics are all printed using completely water-based inks. This means no chemicals or solvents are used. Our heat fixing procedure fixes the colours and prints, avoiding the downsides of steaming, such as excess or contaminated water returning into the waste system. We have one facility in London where we conduct all the printing, production and fulfillment.

Production times
We handmake your item on site, which takes on average 1-3 days. Please check individual production times which are displayed next to the item price on the product page, as this varies from product to product. In rare cases when we need to re-print an item, this may take an additional 1-2 days.
Shipping methods
After your item has been manufactured, we ship your order via your chosen method. Please add on the production time to the delivery time to calculate when your order will be with you. Select your delivery method in your basket.
We have a range of trusted shipping options:
- Royal Mail 1st Class Standard (no tracking) - 1-5 working days on average (please note that this can take up to 15 working days in exceptional circumstances).
- Royal Mail 1st Class Recorded (no tracking) - Usually delivered the next working day. It is not a guaranteed next day service, or a tracked service. A signature is required. (Please note that this can take up to 15 working days in exceptional circumstances).
- Special Delivery - Delivered the next working day
- Saturday Delivery (deliver only on Sat)
- Collection from our London Office (between 4-6pm on working days only)
- For international orders or large/bulky packages within the UK, we ship via DHL or Fedex services. This takes on average 2-5 working days.
